Lifelong Trumann resident and community advocate, Heather Shrader, has officially announced her candidacy for Mayor of Trumann in the 2026 election.
“I’m running for mayor to be their voice, to serve this community in a way that empowers our citizens to boldly reclaim their city and secure the promising future of Trumann.”
As Executive Director of Stepping Stone Sanctuary, Shrader has secured critical funding, mobilized volunteers, and provided resources to hundreds of families in crisis. Now, she brings that same dedication to City Hall.
